These bad beasts came on the Miata. Trying to figure out the exact model number so I can google how much they weigh.
My best guess is that they’re !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , weighing in at 20.5 pounds a piece (17x7), but google shows a lot of them are 2 tone. Perhaps these have been dipped to look charcoal? Any other leads would be greatly appreciated!
Gratuitous ass shot from Friday after an icy drive out of storage:

Those look extremely heavy. What kind of idiot puts heavy wheels on a Miata and ruin the car!?

Definitely looks like you found the right model. My guess is that they were rattle canned. Should be pretty easy to figure out if it was plasti-dipped, because it’ll peel off without too much effort. And I doubt someone actually paid for powdercoating on those.
20.5 is pretty heavy for an aftermarket 17x7

oh geez you gotta swap those wheels out for some lightweight 15s asap.

Yeah I’d be putting those on CL quick. Doesn’t Tire Rack sell a house brand lightweight wheel basically designed specifically for the Miata?

Weigh one with tire. Look up weight of tire. Subtract.

Motegi will produce a wheel in just about any color you want, just ordered a set of mr127 in that exact color for a customer of mine

Get some lightweight 14s or 15s; luckily you have the standard 1.8 brakes rather than the larger sport calipers that limit minimum wheel sizes to 15".

I’m on the prowl for them. Worried about cost though.

The same idiot that ordered it without the LSD, lol

I thought of this, but I don’t have a scale! (And these weird tires aren’t well documented online)

I think 14s would be a bit comical, but 15s are in the cards if I gather the courage to start throwing money at it.

I’ll have to look into that, but I fear exchange rate + shipping + duties

They are comical in a way, but cost-effective. 14" tires are cheap and so are OEM 14" NA wheels.
